Patio
Coatings.
Outdoor patios face brutal UV, freeze-thaw cycles, and constant moisture. Our UV-stable polyaspartic topcoats and quartz systems are engineered to thrive in Texas weather.
What You Get
We grind, repair, and seal your patio with a moisture-tolerant primer, then build the decorative finish — flake, quartz, or stain — and lock it under a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat.
- 100% UV stable
- Slip-resistant texture
- Freeze-thaw tolerant
- Easy outdoor cleanup
- Multiple finish styles
Best For
- • Backyard patios
- • Front entries
- • Outdoor kitchens
- • Covered porches
How the System Is Built
The actual layers and materials — and why each one matters for the finished floor.
-
1Pressure wash and grind
Outdoor slabs collect organic contamination — sap, leaves, mildew. We pressure-wash, then diamond-grind to a clean profile.
-
2Moisture-tolerant primer
Outdoor concrete sees rain, sprinkler over-spray, and ground moisture. Our outdoor primer bonds even with elevated moisture readings that would break a standard epoxy system.
-
3Decorative finish — flake, quartz, or stain
Flake gives the residential garage look on a patio. Quartz gives the textured, slip-safe, commercial-grade look. Stain preserves the concrete aesthetic with translucent color. Each suits a different style of patio.
-
4UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat with anti-slip
The non-negotiable layer. Two coats of UV-stable polyaspartic with fine-grain anti-slip additive blended in. This is what survives Texas sun without yellowing and stays safe when the patio is wet.
Benefits
What this system actually delivers in daily use.
- 100% UV stable — the finish will not yellow, chalk, or fade in DFW summer sun
- Anti-slip texture engineered for wet outdoor conditions
- Tolerates freeze-thaw cycling that cracks lesser sealers
- Sealed surface — no more leaf stains, no more rust marks from patio furniture
- Wide finish options: flake, quartz, stained, or solid color
- Pairs seamlessly with pool-deck coatings if you want one continuous outdoor surface
Our Process for Patio Coatings
Step-by-step from consultation through return-to-service.
-
1Consultation and weather check
Outdoor installs depend on weather windows. We confirm a 2-3 day dry forecast before scheduling.
-
2Pressure wash and grind
Heavy clean, then diamond profile of the slab.
-
3Crack and joint repair
Filled and detailed before any coating.
-
4Primer + decorative finish + topcoat
Two-to-three day buildup depending on the system. Foot traffic 24 hours after final coat; furniture and full use after 72 hours.
What to Expect
Outdoor patios live 10-15 years on our system before any topcoat refresh, which is dramatically better than any acrylic-sealer-only approach. DFW patios face a specific cocktail: 100-plus-degree summer surface temperatures, occasional sub-freezing nights, sprinkler over-spray, sap from oaks and pecans, and rust from patio furniture. The UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat handles every one of those. Maintenance is a leaf blow or rinse weekly, occasional wash with a mild cleaner, and that's it. The biggest mistake homeowners make with patios is using a generic acrylic sealer that needs reapplication every 2 years and yellows; our polyaspartic system is more expensive upfront and dramatically less expensive over a decade.
