    How the System Is Built

The actual layers and materials — and why each one matters for the finished floor.

    1. 1
      Full diamond grind

Showroom floors are the most visually scrutinized work we do — every scratch and bond imperfection shows under mirror gloss. We grind aggressively and clean meticulously.

    2. 2
Pigmented epoxy base in brand color

Color-matched epoxy base to brand or design palette. Multiple coats if the base color is light enough to need full opacity.

    3. 3
Metallic pour or premium flake (design-dependent)

For auto showrooms: typically metallic for the depth that complements vehicles. For retail: often a premium flake or solid high-gloss for clean lines.

    4. 4
Thick polyaspartic topcoat — two to three coats

Extra topcoat thickness gives showroom mirror reflectivity. Each coat is back-rolled to a perfect lay-down because any roller marks show in the final gloss.

    Benefits

What this system actually delivers in daily use.

    • Mirror-gloss reflectivity that doubles ambient lighting in a showroom
    • Custom brand color matching for retail and dealership floors
    • Vehicle-rated for auto showrooms — handles tire weight without distortion
    • 100% UV stable so window-side floors don't fade
    • Optional anti-slip additives keep entries safe without dulling the gloss elsewhere
    • Easy daily maintenance — microfiber dust mop and pH-neutral damp mop

Our Process for Showroom Floor Coating

    Step-by-step from consultation through return-to-service.

    1. 1
      Design consultation

We walk the showroom with your design lead, match brand colors, and discuss any logo or color-block detailing.

    2. 2
      Heavy prep

Full diamond grind, crack and joint detail, immaculate clean. Showroom prep is meticulous because any defect will show through mirror gloss.

    3. 3
      Base + design layer

Pigmented base, then metallic pour or premium flake broadcast depending on the design.

    4. 4
      Multi-coat polyaspartic finish

Two to three back-rolled polyaspartic coats build the mirror finish. Open for foot traffic 24 hours; vehicles 48-72 hours.

    What to Expect

Showroom floors are visual showpieces and have to look that way for 10+ years. With proper maintenance — daily dust mop, weekly damp mop with pH-neutral cleaner, no abrasive scrubbers — the gloss holds through that timeframe. Annual buff-and-recoat of the topcoat layer extends life significantly and is dramatically cheaper than a full reinstall. The DFW-specific note: large showroom windows mean serious UV load on portions of the floor. Our 100% UV-stable polyaspartic handles this; lesser systems show banding where sun hits vs. doesn't hit within a couple years. For dealerships and brand-sensitive retail we color-match using physical samples in your space's actual lighting, not from a screen.
